Large community. So I can find a open battleroom for any mod without wait.
Of course I wish that it won't become as much a retard breeding pool than battlenet. Once I tried playing Stracraft there and it was so random! So it would be best if it grew more with sensible people that with kiddies and idiots. The open source part might draw in more nerds and geeks, with is good, but the free part might draw in more the immature people, wich is bad.

I do agree that spring should ship with all major mods included. I imagine it would help out newbies a lot and increase the player base of all mods at the same time, plus, people would be more inclined to try new mods if they already have them.

Why make them download 200MB when they can download ~40MB and then choose which mods to play? With some well-written instructions, improvements in installation processes for mods, and ever-helpful people in #main, most clueless newbies should be able to install and start playing in under 10 minutes. If someone is so utterly clueless as to not be able to figure out how to download and install two self-extracting installers, do we really want him playing Spring anyways?neddiedrow wrote:I don't think it is too much to ask people to download a two hundred MB pack for a dozen full games and a moddable engine.
