Stop running away with this thread pls.
I understand most of u like to talk about whats best but make a seperate thread for it pls.
I was only looking for an answer to my qeustion.
I only had 2 helpfull posts so far. 3 if u count the person confirming blender is a good tool :)
My last qeustion, aside from the title qeustion, was :
I got my uncoloured, un textured model rdy.
Now i wont to put it in upspring. It cant hold several textures...but i can colour as i want? or what r the limitations? Thats what i'm not getting.
EDIT: howcome when i try to export my models in upspring it tells me unknown extension? anyone knows why?
Stick to the topic or make ur own thread pls

Sorry for jacking your thread...
Well, unfortunately, you'll have to redo some of your things, since I don't know how Blender works yet, you should have all the objects combined into one to uv map..
BTW, Wings3d has a system where if you make a texture external, you can see your model with the texture even after changing it just a little. If Blender has this, I would suggest using it.
And, also, you have to UV map... That's what you would need to do to apply a texture. UpSpring itself can't uv map or texture whatsoever, you can load a texture, however.
Sorry again, hope I helped...
