My friend says the way he learned was the book "How to draw Manga" and his drawings are so good, you could drool over them...

I have searched online but i can't find it, if you know of one thats pretty good, suggest it to me... Puuhhh-leeaasssseee :cry:

It could be that he just copied out of the book. Unless it's a 'theory' book, it probebly was just a step by step copy outta the book thing.

I have some of those books, and it shows you how to do basic things, depending on which one you get.

I have the book. The only thing really of any use in it is the sections on manga faces. The human figure sections are pretty useless, you're much better off getting a how to draw anatomy book. The polycarbon tuts are acceptable for faces as well, they are just really bad for figure and what not, they don't contain enough detail or intermediary steps.

However the How to draw manga books, do stress that to draw human bodies properly, your best to get yourself a book of human atomany and draw atleast 3 or 4 people a day... tahts quite a lot of work, and even then it points out most people use a reference still for positions they arn't fermiliare with drawing.

I have a book on anatomy. 'Tis very useful! (And I've drawn three people today!)
