I'm scared and annoyed at the same time, I've given up on this game because I never win which is no fun :(, so I began playing another game Sauerbraten. But unfortunately it is crappy open-source with haxxors. And I'm angryz.

Sauer has a bad hacking problem - with the client-side calculation and opensource nature, cheating at all is kinda pointless since the ultimate cheat (all other players die instantly, I win) is easily implemented. If the server was at least stable, it wouldnt be so bad - I mean, if one could just kick the hackers off, that would be fine... but since they can ignore the kick and crash the server, things are extra suck.

Actually - I'm one of the admins of the Sauer map-site "Quadropolis.us". I play it quite a lot (FFS, use the R rearming in Capture, people!).

This weekend I intend to upload the FINAL version of BloX 100% working, 100% awesome models, and possible 99.3% free.

I have a question, how do I change nanospray, like make a ball generate on top of the builder unit and have a composite beam, like in Warzone 2100, I intend to make this mod free.

Sidenote: Gonna try to put linux on PS3 as well, try to play Spring and Sauerbraten on it, hehe.

If you hate my terrible pictures then run and hide like a scared little girl, I may upload a better design document eventually. I am removing the clunky Blok bases and opting for a simpler turret system, I intend to make standalone bases that can hold turrets, 1-4 max, hehe. I do actually know what I'm doing, but I need help with 2 things.

I AM USING S3O, now give me help, using Wings 3D. I have Gimp as well and some knowledge of PNG, It has layers and objects, who knew? I am new to Gimp though. I want to do full UV map, trust me I will do it, give me the simplest uv map tutorial possible, a cube, alright, teach me how to UV map a friggin cube guys, then RC will shine.

You did away with my reptilian naming scheme :cry:

I had it all worked out, the units would all be named after apropriate reptiles, and would be skinned with reptilian scales, and the whole game would have this creepy reptilian feel about it.

I'm expecting the next version of Blox, v8, to get released either tonight or tomorrow, with finals, I'm home a lot more, and hopefully can learn the finer points of modding. In the meantime, here is what to expect:
1. Better Build Times

2. More Weapons

3. A semi-good resource system

4. A 3-4 slot car

5. Removal of the UberPlane or Fix, whichever is easier

6. Fixed Weapon aiming

7. Shield module

8. Buildings to build the cars and turrets

9. Turrets that move with the tank, and can climb better.

10. Class limited Weapons[Eg: UberCar can use it, but UberTrike Can't]

11. Addition of FastCar to replace Crappy UberTrike.

12. Free of OTA content.
