---> sony mdr v6
sound great, portable (they fold up like sunglasses ... COOl)
very comfortable
~50-70 CAD
---> sennheiser px100
cheapo, portable clip-ons
best sound at approx. 20-30 CAD
these frequently match headphones up to maybe 3 times their price
---> koss ksc75
highly detailed, balanced, super portable, extremely isolating (blocks noise just like that)
shove these deep into ear to seal so comfort might be an issue, might want to try before buy
---> altec lansing im716

btw, buying this sorta stuff in canada sucks really badly
prices are jacked up like .....way up
and shipping/customs duty/brokerage fees/tax really sucks if you try to get stuff shipped in from a states retailer
ncix.com might have some stuff youre interested in at okay prices
but ....the secret is ....use amazon.com, and get relatives or friends in the states to send/bring it to you
otherwise its crap prices from local retailers
but i guess theres always ebay
check out head-fi.org for info treasure pot, great community, and buy/sell
no full-sized cans, because i dont believe in their inherent impracticality

especially at this price point
though supposedly, the hd280pro are supposed to be good phones for the price
