Laptop GPU?

I agree with myself, don't ever buy a laptop. It's difficult to upgrade and basically like a (mobile) console, only that the games aren't specifically made for it. If you need it for work, get the cheapest and lightest thing you can get.

I was working at a hardware reseller the past 1.5 years (stopped working there now) and we had some nice 800 to 1200 Mhz notebooks which weighted less than 1 kg. Okay they didn't have a CD/DVD drive but if you got an USB/IDE adapter this doesn't matter and they aren't overly expensive, you'll only need this to set it up once anyway.
We were selling them for about 150-250 EUR (~1 year ago) so I think that's a reasonable price for something you'll only be working with.

Also keep in mind that your highend notebook won't be highend in 5 months, not to mention that it costs about a quarter or a third more than a PC of same specifications.
