I like the Diabolic Way of Naming Angels

There is a whole Namin Sience & Tradition out there- i think there are even Wikkis about Naming Traditions.



Another Thing would be making a long Name, made of all the Names humans hav give him in Live. Starting with Honk (StoneAge) till Tom (Today)
Also some Rank (how near to heaven and how near to hell) in Name (always hint that there is more-> The Readers don`t want to be informed , the want a hook to let there Phantasy strife)

not perfect but something to start with - and always good for one last gag, if you are in desperate need for one

I don`t dare to say but it is another good Tradition to give those who have already a fixed "Place in the Plot" Anagram Names made of Persons out of foreign books who lived, behaved or died similiar to the "fixed".

For example a Angle dieing in a Bathtube - Tamar ( Marat) or after a know Animal - one Angel jumping from cliffs into the Sea for wingcleaning (Gemlin = Leming)

While writing this (before getting names) I used the names of the angels form Diablo 2-- Tyrael the good guy, and Izual the corrupted one.

The names I chose there are their human names. I still don't know if I'll reveal their Angel names, because both (well, Sam, at any rate) are trying to stay undercover. Any knowledge of who they are could bring unwanted attention from the masses (and the other side).
