Was here from the start, back in the days of Demo Recorder. Just browsing the SY site and noticed this entire new section.

I was like omg 1337, got a mate to play it with me. Mate is long gone, but I remain :D

I've actually been around a lot longer than most people realize. I even made one of the spring logo entries back when they wanted to replace the sperm. Back before spring had a public version out and all. Then I disapeared for a bunch of semesters, like a year and a half, because school got bitch hard. I kept the project in the back of my mind until the day came when I had more time, IE this summer.

Of course I couldn't remember my old account info, and the forums appeared to have been cleaned out since then anyway, so I made a new identity.

EDIT: I should actually say, I was gone for a year because of school, then another 6 months or so because of WoW. Guild Wars was to MMORPG's as Nicoderm Patches are to smoking for me. :lol:

I´m that friend >=D

I was looking around at mods for OTA and found the old Yankspankers, which had a nifty moving Demo of how TA would look i 3D. And then the long wait begun. I remember being sad when Spring wasn´t our for spring =(

*skimmerdee skim skim*

Well, I have been aware of Spring for a long time now but finally Spring has matured into a playable version and has been available since 2005.

But I played a crude version of Spring back in 2001/2002 I believe...

I accidentally stumbled upon this even though back in the good 'ol days i was a real TA fanatic myself.

A friend of mine had read somewhere that theres a project to create a new engine for TA and when he told me that, it struck me like 10gigazaps! I was back in the TA-zone :o

I knew about it before the public release, probably from some TA site.

Actually, I think it was SWTA on TAP, coz there was a news post about it working in Spring...

I read about it on a forum, then after playing it once forgot about it for a few months, just sitting on my hard drive.

Then when I was looking for a game to play when I was getting tired of starcraft me and a friend started playing 1v1 over and over untill we were good enough to start playing properly.

And so LolSquad was formed.

Interestingly, neither me nor steven (LolSquad) have played OTA :?
