Private maps forum?

Can the new mapping forum be moved up so it's below this mapping forum? It's disconcerting seeing it there at the bottom all empty, it's like it's been left aside to be taken to the curb

ok I didn't read all the posts here but to get access just pm me and I'll add you to the groups (assuming you are a mapper). This may have already been said and if so I apologize.

I logged on and have several pm's. I was a bit taken off guard lol.

I know this is kind'of a silly thing to mention... but where are newbs supposed to ask questions about how to start making maps... where are new maps supposed to be released and discussed... I don't really think we need a separate map developer forum because all the people who know how to make maps only ever post to help newbs or release maps... and that's gonna go here anyways... map makers know how to make maps and don't really need a place to discuss that fact as far as I'm concearned... tell me if I'm wrong here.

This post really irritated me, so I'm attempting to be civil and nice...

Newbs can ask questions here. It's not like mappers will stop reading this forum.

Sinbad, maybe you don't realize that some of us would like to be able to post topics/questions/map specific designs WITHOUT input from the community and ONLY from other mappers.

When non-mappers in this community discuss a map there are quite a few times where people have no idea what they are talking about and just muck up/derail the topic.

PLUS, this has a very good benefit for me because I can post map designs for other mappers to see and get opinions from just them on what should be changed about the design etc. I always Hated it when Ice would post designs and whatnot because it came off as attention whoring, and I could never bring my self to post designs in this forum because in a way to me, that would seem to me like I would be attention whoring and I CAN"T STAND people that do that.

In short sinbad, when it comes to your opinion about this... No one but you cares. Sorry.
