It's sad that that sort of project that could by all rights be competition for spring is floundering the way it is. It's really looks nonspectacular, and if it looks non spectacular then it probably shouldn't have been advertized the way it was.

In HL2 modding we have this thing about how only newb dev teams post pictures of untextured models, the whole point is that progress that far back isn't worth advertizing because at that stage it's too subject to change, so you're boxing your self in advertizing it directly. The whole sheet about how awesome palito is compared to all the other RTS engines out there is just pitiful, and it something that probably never should have existed, let alone for such a huge project so early in development.

Egads! The only thing I can mod is Oblivion, and thats because A) The Construction Set is nice, easy to use and come's with the game and B) Who CAN'T mod for Oblivion? I mean thirty mods came out in the first DAY of the game being out! EGADS!

I'm only involved in two. But I do talk a lot, so maybe that makes up for it.
