I hate les paul guitars. The action is way too high and you really can't play much with them except modern rock and softer. Their sound is very tinny and they are notoriously nois, as well as the fact that you can't properly palm mute with them. Actually mesa>everything is not exactly true. The woofers are only as good as the cabinet they are put into.
