You want to know what would be better than a S&T forum? Write more strategy and tactics articles for the Wiki, or elaborate on the ones already there. The ones up there now are kind of simple.

For example, Lathan and SwiftSpear's discussion is now immortalized in the Rushing article.

AKs are a great solution even in the endgame for attacking where your enemy least expects it - ie, if all your attacks have been with tanks coming through the middle on small divide, send 30 AKs over the hill and rush past any small defenses he has by virtue of the steep slope accelerating your AKs descent (and therefore, the amount of warning your opponent has).

If you do this properly, your opponent will have less than 5 seconds to *somehow* react to this oncoming base-wrecking swarm. Go straight to the back of the base and hit his fusions!

Pfft! If you own a ridge on Small Divide you are better off making guardians there to pound his base. If you dont own it, then good luck charging AKs uphill against the defenses :)

in answer to the original question AK's are for one main thing: use when the terrain forbids the use of vehicles and you need to get somewhere quick. Id suggest a combination of Peewees, jeffys, spiders and zippers for arm but you cant get spiders for core so its a bit more dificult. id say that the AK serves minimal purpose. the main reason to use them is really early in the game get a lot of them togethor and use them to defend youre base from opponents who are trying to jush you early on. that way they wont be facing level 2 units and you wil be able to defend your precious base without loss of too much resources. after that there not useful for much.
i suggest after that just go for l2 kbots patrolling youre base and use those to guard until you can build a high tech lab. then you can stick about 30 nano towers around it and can mass produce karganeths ata an astonishing rate. then use about 15 to 20 of these evil brutes to slowly wipe out youre opponents one by one.
also suggest wilding about 10 nuke silos to irritate the pants of anyone who tries to attack youre base whilst youre L3's are away. then theyll retreat to try and defend their base from attack so they will be able to rebuild it. its then you can hit them with your aircraft.

What would we ever do without the awesome uber-strats of Paulicus25... :roll:. And you managed to m4st3r Absolute Annihilation in 30 minutes (check the time stamp) to boot, I'm impressed!
