Then I believe it's not a crash, but a failure to restart Spring.
When operating normally, reloading actually close and relaunch Spring. Except, the relaunch part often fails for unclear reason.
You can still launch manually the savegame by drag and dropping the right startscript file (I think it's _script.txt) over Spring.exe
And ingame don't forget Alt F to get past the wait for player & start pos.
But yeah, even if that eventually works, there were so many troubles already, we can consider this a fiasco.

Re: Save and load singleplayer games
I mean alt+f does not work (or any other key combinations)
Actually I noticed not even typing things in chat does work: after pressing return it does not show up in chat history. Maybe game has ended?
Or could it be that after "Warning: Bandwidth limit was reached for Player [packets delayed]" the packet limit does somehow not reset since the game never starts (frames not counting) which prevents the game from starting?

Re: Save and load singleplayer games
Yes, I loaded my game and it works. I drag the savegame document over Spring exe. I have a question: Can you do this program for Spring 94 and with BA 7.75? Because in BA 7.75 the aircraft land and repair in the automatic aircraft repair and in your version it has a fail. But I say a big thank you to you then I can load and save my games and I can do big battles.
PS Sorry for my English

Really? That's unexpected!SevenArm23 wrote:Yes, I loaded my game and it works
That method only works when the savegame is under 32k.SevenArm23 wrote:I drag the savegame document over Spring exe.

Re: Save and load singleplayer games
Yes it works good, but it has a great mistake when you save the game and load it the build objekt is finished and stay with half life or with 40 % life or with ..... life in the factory and the factory build over them a new unit. That s really laborious! Can you when you have time correct this bug?
Otherwise it is good. Thank you.

Re: Save and load singleplayer games
Yes, the reloaded nanoframes in the factories are just for looks, they are ignored by the factory which prefers to rebuild a new unit from the start. And no, I cannot correct this bug. Only thing I could do is not spawn the half finished decaying unit. But I cannot force the factory to resume it.

Too bad I thought it would be doable but can you do it for Spring 94 and with BA V7.75?

Re: Save and load singleplayer games
That is do-able. But I don't know when I'll do. Could be next week, next year, or never.
