This is how i sketched it the very first time, so @ first DSX was kinde vertical-squized.
Never knowing what shit would hit which fan when i did this sketch.
The second one could be nice.

Interesting how the sketch has a pretty much 1:1 aspect ratio when the final DSX/D ended up in a 2:1 shape.

You lost the whole project?! That sucks, those models were gorgeous. You should get it up into an SVN or otherwise store it in the cloud so this sort of stuff doesnt happen. My previous work was stolen at least twice, not that i mind that a lot but what is a SVN?

If you don't really mind if people use your models, there is no reason not to put them online and make sure this sort of thing doesnt happen again. Working on a dedicated miner unit for the NKG in CT. Going for a dump truck with treads kind of thing... little laser turrets on the front to actually mine the metal :D

The second attempt to make a proper model for zero-k's catapult, because that 3do thing looks unbearable.


I would have posted the uv map instead of these simple geometric shapes since I was busy with that for almost a week. Unfortunately, uv maps aren't even half as interesting as the actual models.
