We have seen multiple people we know give up in the face of modeling. That's why this was made.
So, please either say nothing, or something useful.

well I didHoi wrote:Do new people even understand those things? They don't. It's also a bit of an introduction to the interface.
This can be useful for an absolute noob.
something useful... CROP CHOP
Re: Wings3d tutorial
rattle does have a point though.
wings 3d has plenty of good tutorials already. Both on the basics and "how to model a head/plane/car etc."
Even if someone wants to learn modeling because of spring, they would probally just google "wings 3d tutorial" or for specific problems google "wings 3d how to mirror vertices"
i fear the chance that yours will be find by people googling is pretty small.
No point in writing tutorials for well documentated stuff. It would be like making another "my first html page" tutorial, of those also a few thousand exist.
Instead, do more tutorials on spring like your guide on CEG.
The docu/guides on spring are not that great so I think anything to help that would be really welcome.
but yes, there simply is no way around resizing and cropping the images.
ie this guide:
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Wings_3D/T ... topography
is nice because you can just scroll down without having to open/close/resize images and whatnot.

Re: Wings3d tutorial
A "dumb people's" guide to animation scripting with lua has been on my list of things to do for months now. Maybe I can get to it after more dire CT chores get done.
Edit: By "dumb people's", I mean people with little to no experience with coding, such as myself and snoop, who've had to learn this the hard way.
