I don't believe you did. You went off on what is the point of muting a spammer if he or she can still communicate with the server, which assumes that the only reason to ban spammers is due to their load on the server. You then suggested a kick-ban system using a gag to filter statements. Later you switched to expressing your opinion that punishments should be meted out when they impact other people, asserting that this isn't the case, drawing a fallacious parallel between the spam filtering and a rather half-cooked book and film on the defects and corruption inherent in thought-intrusive law enforcement.
