Voice is cheap, cheap in production, cheap in consumation, cheap in shipping, yet games seldom use this, but Journeywar will use it.
There will be a tauntsystem, like in many other games, but unlike the other games, this one will consist only of one key, and a little LUA programm, that counts the casulties of the last 45 seconds- defining who is the moments winner, and the playing either a Journeymandis.mp3 or a CENTRAIldis.mp3, consisting out of three lines.

They can be easily produced, are fast, short entertaiment on demand, crowning every small victory, this disses, can be easily transfered p2p and via server, so if this is not a great idea, i never had one.

a lowEnergy Plant, fast errected, unlike many other CentrAIl-Buildings, this one has no option to retract into the sheltering ground, and so the half-citizens in it have to endure combat on the surface. Still like its MohoCounterpart it redirects Ressources out of the CentrAIl-Empire into your purse, so if you can life with it, somehow will those in it.

To keep all those deported Criminals in ther CrimeContaimentCapsules at bay, when they get shipped to the other side of the galaxy, CentrA.I.l developed a system to keep realtive innocents, no other way around, innocent relatives as hostages, converting them with all there worldy possesion into reusable mass, should the familymemeber in the CCC rebell. Which sooner or later they all do, because long lifesentence is loong, if you are near imortal like most of the CentrAIls Citizens.

nothing unusual, maybee to much light, and selfiluminating textures, i dont plan for them to look like this in the final version, although some cellshading titles looked great (13) comes to mind

Currently its sketching time, so calm yourself, although i thank you for the kind words :)
I am a little bit worried about the journeyman though, dont know for sure if that concept will really work out, or if there buildings just turn into brown/greenblobs over all green maps.
Journeyman: Spaceborn Sunship
This is one of the Eperimentals of the Journeyman. Breed at the Spaceborninfirmary, this baby is only able to swim in water, it has no weapon, is very fragile hp-wise, and cant fire its weapon unless it is at full health, sounds pretty harmless for all the wealth stashed into it? Well, if you hit the ignite-button, then the sunship will collect a huge bubble of oceanwater around itself, lift into the Watersphere, surround itself and the sphere with powerfull shields and ignite into a miniature sun, wich slowly hovers into the preignite given direction.
Is there a need to describe the destruction of a sunrise this close?
Gammaradiation strikes, water boils, steam burns, mountain melts.
This goes on for as long as a minute, in which the minime of the sun ages through from a withebluestar, to a red giant, finally blowing away in a supernova, leaving behind for any survivors a pile of ressources to reclaim.
PS: Buildings retracted into the ground, can survive such a attack.

Launches in a circle around itself dragonteeths, renamed and redesigned as dragongrass, wich grows once enemy units close in. Unspectacular building to stop tanks. The Top rotates 120 degrees and back.

Next in line are Metall/Energystorage of CentrAIl

There is a CentrAIl-Policy, that no-citizen, not even a half-citizen is left behind, because to CentrAIl, all its citizen, are equally (under the declaration 7243XYZ§23) U.N (codified Citizenrightcharta Chapter II.) important. [Some Strategos even believe that CentrAIl gives a shit about the Journeywar, considering how halfassed he sometimes gives up whole planets, but hey, loose one on this side of the galaxy, gather three on the other side, makes +2 for the big Machine.]
Sounds like a babysitterjob, doesent it?
Thats the official version, wich mounts to a constant loss of security-budget, if out there in the djungel some hippie-scientists, with there implanted lifesignimplants still ping for help. This is why, this is as funny as it sounds, a Journeymanbuilding, to be moar precise, it is a Journeyman mine, a honeytrap of a seemingly peacefully lab in the djungel, not attacked by the aliens, were everything is peace and harmony, and even the animals come out to play with Dr.Ripley.
And now for the ugly part. Once a CentrAIl-Unit passes by this for them invisible building, the mine wents without a visible trace off, creating after 45 seconds at the same spot another building the "refuggecamp", that constantly gnaws on the security budget of the CentrAIl-Troops.
If you play CentrAIl, it might be a relieve to know, that you dont have to organize transport back for this "resisting citizens" but, it is also counts as full return for the Administration if you burn down the camp, rip out the lifesign-transponders and shove them down a dead letter box in some god forsaken scumslum-block. Therefore, if you can reach those camps, your problem can be easily solved.

I just noticed, but if you make the buildings big enough (Journeyman) flat areas on the map, become sort of a ressource, just need to think this through... it basically renders smallscale maps unuseable, bad thing.. but good thing if you want to limit some sort of building...

ConTruck, not as fast, not as landscapeindependant as the ConTrain or the ConAir, but well, its a start, keeping the supplys rollin. Not able to climb over steeper hills, so it keeps your base limited to flatlands or plateaus.
Of curse you got to protect them from ambushes, or your building will never go up, and all the efforts of the worlds would have gone to waste. So keep them rollin, rollin, rollin...
Precoluring and texture are distorted and stretchy, i know, so relax, better texture is under construction.

Its actually a non-military unit, having no active weapon, just that giant-x-ray-generator on- no, in his hat, soaking its surrounding in deadly radiation, which is especially bad for journeyman buildings, all those forresttrees, and organic, moving things, they tend to shrink, let off steam and get brown if the gardener comes along to tend the lawn.
This is actually the only CentrAIl-Unit, that does not need considerable amounts of Mass or Energy to fire its weapon, so if the journeymanjungle, starts growing into your city, always remember the best biomassmurderer - is always the gardener.

This will be the Mamothdiplodocus, like its oversized name, the Unit is oversized, a amphibious transport Unit of the Journeyman, faster in water, slow on land, equipped with no weapons,except from one of last ressort. The Charge, if commanded to charge, the Mamothdiplodocus will go, very fast, over everything ahead in a straigth line, stomping tanks and man into the ground like toys, until the chargerange is reached or it runs into a building, cliff or river. Then it dies, and when you dont hit the Unloadbutton in time, your transported Units die with it.
