Hiding requests from players behind game devs might be a too big gatekeeper. Not all requests might be useful for a mod, but maybe for the engine in general. I think a discussion that is not bound to a mod is the best way.
Slice it any way you want, all of Trademark's requests have always been to change the default UI of Spring to suit BA.

it doesnt add anything, it will show buildtime with absurd number inside brackets, but the seconds at the left side of the brackets, like 5.35s (242364)
i dont see any problem, everyone who makes UI's just replaces everything by widget.

This is engine bug, not mod related bug. And i dont want to use LuaUI.

Tooltip shows some units stats. I'm not aware what's the bug there.
If it's a bug, you posted in the wrong forum.

By your logic I could say that displaying cost as (Metal Cost) + (Energy Cost)/30 in tooltip is an engine bug as it is entirely specific to one game with a certain MM efficiency.

Well that does make a lot of sense, when it's not useful for anything even in games with that certain MM efficiency

when if it was just m cost for example, that would be usefull in knowing how much you get when reclaiming

Cost is used as the default value for mass and power, could be handy to know.

For build times I could see adding a "will take this unit this long to build" display (after all you aren't going to see the default tooltip on custom economies so if the default build order tooltip is visible it likely uses the default build logic), calculating assists and such is complicated and should be left to widgets, never mind that assists aren't terribly clear to the engine anyway (SWIW units can assist as far as the engine knows but the gadgets in place prevent it, it's only allowed so ANY unit can finish a construction without the restrictions that apply to the engine tags) and predicting how many nanos will be available is a silly job (maybe they're currently busy with something that'll be done in a few seconds? Maybe something more important pops up?), especially once you try adding mobile units on patrol.

okay, if you dont want to implement this, then add workertime number next to build time?

then i can use my calculator and know how many seconds it takes

for all mods buildtime displayed as "50" (seconds) instead of "2551" is better. The current numbers displayed are just something inside the engine, for the user it should be human readable. Just like it shows playernames instead of player ids or "Commander" instead of "arm_com"

Even if it does not take into account assisting builders. After all, the current system does not care about them either, nor about ressource stalling.

For builders building buildings (wat?) it would be nice if there was something like this:
1 con selected, hover over buildpic: tooltip shows 30 sec
2 cons selected, hover over buildpic:tooltip shows 15 sec

Not true. Sometimes he wants the gameplay options of spring to suit his version of BA. It's not just the UI.

Nice to know I'm not the only one who has to rejigger the "cost" back into metal-cost in my head when playing CA.

Your issues are pretty much based off of TA derivatives, so...
