ha
I locked myself out of the car once, the car was locked and the trunk was open. I closed the trunk and started walking away, when I realised, that I had left the keys inside the trunk
The "locksmith" just pulled the doorknob with a wire and voila. A very pricey voila.
I also carry a spare key in my wallet since then

There's a button on the door, if you push it the door changes from unlocked state, to locked state. So if you push the button and leave the car, and they key is still in the car, you are locked out.Satirik wrote:i don't even understand how you can lock keys inside anything ... here you can't lock things without the key ... well you can in a car but if you lock your car that way you're an idiot
I wouldn't have locked the keys in the car, but my friend was working on my audio deck, and he left the keys in the cup holder without telling me. After he was done I just assumed he had the keys, so I locked the doors and closed the car, since we had no reason to get back in.
That was the first time I've ever locked my keys in a car. When I was still driving the car in question, I ONLY used the remote lock, so I always had the keys in hand if the car got locked. The current car I have doesn't have a remote lock, but I've attached my keys to my wallet, and it's instinct for me to carry my wallet everywhere, so I never forget my keys anywhere.
