thanks guys :D

im hoping this works out well... i figure if i make enough parts, and have them all on the same uv map, then i can assemble a ton of different little vehicles from said parts.

when units explode... and you see turrets and stuff flying in the air... how is that done, is it using pre-defined models for the particles? or randomly selecting chunks from the model?

silly idea? good idea? prediction of fail? just asking for opinion because im going to try it anyways 8) seems like a good challenge to make parts for something clunky like a tank that can also be used in something streamlined like a plane...

if it works, it might be a good option for people who need a vast number of middling quality units for their mod.

its done in the script.

I fired out a handful of 2x2 (flash sized) wheeled AFV's, afaik the only person who has used them is emmanuel ;_; (although the con vech might still be in CA)

It's something i'm working on atm, this part could be done fairly quickly since as jK's widget proves it can already be bolted on in place of the current code. The only drawback is shadows won't work without hardware shader support but I think we've established now that hardware without shaders is generally too crap to run ANY shadows.
