I was absolutely sure that every such units were hacks made to look like submarines/ect.

Well, maybe i rememberwrong, i left the community back when annihilated.com closed...

Yeah, all the ICBM "subs" are just ships that have had their bodies moved underwater through the script. That's why land/surface units could target them perfectly once they surfaced one time.

I haven't personally tried anything regarding that limitation in Spring. Try giving a Lurker the Samson missile and fly some enemy planes over it, see what happens.

Well, if it was hacked...why doesn't it work in Spring anymore?

Fancy scripts tend not to work in Spring. Although Z is already making progress on that front ^^
