I'm not reading that mess. As my new monitor has speakers built-in, this is something I had to learn how to do recently. If you've already had a satisfactory answer, too bad.

Right-click on the speaker icon in your taskbar, choose playback devices. In the box that now pops up, click the one you want, hit "set default".

You can also opt to hide ones you don't use by right-clicking on them and selecting disable, then right clicking again and unselect "show disabled devices".

Sadly you can't have sound output through two devices simultaneously, probably some kind of idiotic DRM explanation.

But, uh... it's just a guy who's eyes are popping out because he's in a rage. A 4chan staple, not that I'd know. I just converted it to vector and tweaked it a little, fixed the edges so they'd matte properly on the forum... basically I spent 2 hours on it because I was bored.

On the upside I can now use it as my desktop background and it looks nice and sharp.
