t1 its gotta be arm. core aks can kite pewees with great micro but arm has flea and warrior which core have no equivalent, and peewee is better than ak in most situations, especially killing comms.

t2 its more balanced. i really like snipers tho so again id prolly say arm, but core has some cool choices in cans and mortys.

t3 who cares

Arm T3 is useless, banthas are laughably easy to paralyze.

Imo core wins out with the bots on all 3 levels:
T1: The units used in 99% of T1 battles are better (ak > pw, thud > hammer, storm > rocko).
T2:
- Core can rush morties much faster than arm can rush their counter (snipers), and morties can really fuck up T1 porc and units
- Freakers can reinforce front lines really well, fucking up any T1 hoard the enemy sends, no arm kbot equiv
- Doms eat t2 porc
- Pyros have epic selfd, with proper micro they are very very deadly
- I prefer zeuses over cans, I concede that to arm
T3:
- The all terrain ability of kargs is a useful niche for taking the enemy unawares, the arm spiders fail at this
- For everything else, krogs are the only choice as they are immune to para, unlike any of the arm T3


all that said, I still play arm cause i doan like cores style :)

Maybe we should try a feew 1v1s on small maps where both players start as kbots, it'd be interesting to see how kbots go against eachother and the strats that come from it all, if i'd guess it'd be a race to who has the most thuds or hammers but you never know.

Compare kbots at t1, where it matters...

Core has thuds & storms which are a whole lot better than the arm equivalents.
Arm has flea which helps alot, both in scouting/raiding and diverting storm rockets and giving los to rocko.
PW/AK, different roles a bit, totally situation dependant which is "better". AK might have more varied uses but then it has to cover some of fleas duty too
Core has better adv solar while arm has cheaper windmills.
If you go air after a while... Do you prefer banshee or bladewing?
Then theres also how they play vs vehicles not just each other. Arm bots often have trouble stopping jeffies with the firing animation of peewee, while ak can snipe jeffy with relative ease (when you catch it up). Both sides die to janus. Core doesnt lose its spotters instantly vs missile trucks like arm.
Oh and arm has beamer.
Etc etc

But well, its map dependant like everything in the end.

Arm T1 bots for me, i generally prefer peewee's emg's over ak's laser and lower health, gives a massive advantage if your peewee is on higher ground + more likely to suirvice a chance encounter with an LLT with a small group of peewee's. On the level AK's have a range advantage over peewees ofc but requires alot more micro which is isn't really too much of an issue once initial raiding is over.

I also prefer hammers to thuds simply due to cost, i can live with hte opening animation.

T2 i'd generally go for core, but well defended snipers can easily crush your front line if you can't get at them. EMP spiders mixed in with your attacking force (assuming they havn't had some huge cost increase in recent versions) can also be pretty nifty.

Fav T3 unit is definately vanguard. So long as you arn't stupid and send it off to (slowly) charge through an enemy base by itself. Just target specific high value defensive structures / units and send you assult chappies through. Razorbacks are surprisingly effective at tearing through fightershields, but thats merely a chance observation and is really why you'd build them..
