Got it in one.

But it's an almost acceptable solution if all you want to do is eliminate motion blur. The 32LH40 has this feature (framerate doubling) and it works quite well at eliminating the problem. Unfortunately it also adds a few frames of input delay too, so it's unsuitable for gaming use. Regular frame lag from LCD display, plus extra frame lag from the fact that it's a TV and not engineered for low lag, plus extra frame lag from motion interpolation = "who wants a headshot? don't worry, I won't even see you coming"
