Maybe unrelated to this thread, but since it mentions snails, I would like to point out that I ate an amazing dish of Escargot a là bourguignonne as an appetizer 3 days ago, at a french restaurant. A bit pricey (15 euros for 6 snails!), but the snails were big and very tasty. MY GIRLFRIEND ordered it too, but she found them disgusting and after the first, she gave me her dish, which I traded for some Fois Gras. 11 snails in total, I can't complain.

One mention need the tools to eat snails, which are some tongs. You need to push them to open them, grab the snail, then with the little fork, extract the meat from the shell. Bonus point if you somehow manage to fling the snail, possibly so far that it hits another table and/or person, with some practice you'll be able to hit a bottle or launch them inside a glass of wine (possibly red!). To clarify, this is not an "I'm Back" thread; it's more like asking for a synopsis of what's going on. Cuz I don't have lobbies or stuff, installed. I lurk, but infrequently. I never really left. And I don't have a good enough or decent enough internet connection to bother downloading 3 gigs of maps again. Nor the time to bother going through and reading every little thing like I did so many moons ago.

So far, each of these threads I've made has yielded absolutely no useful information in the vein of "what is actually going on". Perhaps if that was provided, I could actually bother doing stuff.

And to be honest, I don't remember making those other threads *at all*. Probably because, again, they weren't worth remembering. Anyhow.

Come now zwzsg, surely you can sympathize, since you're busy with your day job at CERN and all.

Just so you know, and maybe i can quote this every time you make a new thread on this same topic.
