Maybe we should implement a 2D mode for Spring that requires no hardware accelerator? I.e. play with the minimap in fullscreen.

But what your saying...
Does that mean if I do get a new card I would keep those things where they are and it would still work?

Unzip CPU-Z somewhere handy and run it. Click on the "Mainboard" tab to see if it gives you a manufacture and model number. Plug that information into a search engine and see if you can find the manual or at least some kind of pictures or diagrams so you can familiarize yourself with what everything is before you go poking around. The system RAM (what you linked above - the PC3200 DDR module) is plugged into the motherboard, not the video card. Video cards do not come with replaceable/upgradeable RAM.
