I didn't change the categories so if there's a problem it would be in all BA versions, they shouldn't chase them but they could try to bomb them if you manually clicked attack yeah :p

Well, I was actually playing vs RAI, so maybe it gave a "manual" attack command, since it had no other unit close enough

But I also noticed that Blades refuse to attack those "tank trap turrets" (forgot their proper name ), but Hawks do.

I don't know whether I screwed something up or not, but I think you don't need to be the master of the universe to download a file and copy it into the right directory

I'll play some other games and try to reproduce this behaviour...

Nothing should autoattack them if they're closed for they are the masters of disguise, that might be the issue

If the bombers have a higher cruise alt than the other planes could they in theory bomb them whilst flying? Perhaps it should be possible to attack krows this way ;)

I just want my IceUI back which apparently doesn't seem to be possible while LolUI is included.

though JK is probably working on a fixfor this, on the engine side:
currently, TGA icons with non-power-of 2 sizes show up scrambled when zoomed out and on the minimap for ATI cards (probably not on all, but on many at least).
A work around for this bug, is to convert the icons to DDS, or converting the TGAs to power of 2 sizes. currently, 2 of the six icons in BA (which are all TGA) are 128x128, the others use sizes of 130, 143 and 142.
If there will be a fix for it in the engine, it will (if i got it right) convert the images to power of two sizes after loading them, if they are not. This works for DDS already.

What the hell just press F11 untick Lolui, tick IceUI, done.

Unless a future BA uses lolui with a different name (which it wont) you only need to do this once and it'll be off forever...

the F11 menu is quickly becoming hard to navigate. as far as i can tell its not alphabetical or sorted at all, and pageup/pagedown isn't very intuitive...this is more an engine deal though.

oh the woes of open source 8)

different user interfaces which look different. there are now three for BA, two of which are included, and one default.

the default is used when IceUI, LolUI, and/or OldBALayout are all disabled, and it is terrible and no one would ever want to use it.

IceUI is pretty old and was developed 3rd party. it is not included with BA.

LolUI is a new UI made by Regret which is now included with BA and is on by default.

OldBALayout is included with BA but is turned off by default, so if you want BA to look like it used to, you have to turn off LolUI and turn on OldBALayout.

To boil it down, use either LolUI, IceUI, or OldBALayout, and have only one on at any given time. Press f11 ingame and use pageup/pagedown to navigate and find them amongst all the other widgets.

Is there any way to make LUA widgets mutually exclusive from each other?

LolUI is yellow in my F11 panel, and try to activate it make an error message appeard on the console, something about an arithmetic operation on a nil value (line 135 from the script)...

That would occur when you're using Spring.exe and empty player names right?

Could you remove the LolUI in next release? People started to whine at me that its my map own UI O_O

And plus, its annoying to explain to noobs every game how to disable it >_>

Apart from the resize issue (its quite annoying, and there are lots of people playing in windowed mode), I liek the new UI.

Yeah this will certainly be patched next version, in the meantime people can disable it if it's too annoying.
