On a more serious note, I think both versions of the map are quite nice, and I love the way you get those nice rings around the sides of the hills. I imagine the real problem is just the massive number of maps available for spring now, and it is hard for most players to find the really good ones. (Like this). Most spring players never even visit the forums.

User Map Discussion has always been like a "Rate and Review" among mappers and the hardcore players.

Artturi does a really good job of promoting his maps imo. He hosts them non stop for quite some time, that way it propagates well into the minds of the players, plus gives very useful feedback about their play value.
