Perhaps it would help Aegis if someone volunteered as Official Lobby-Protocol Documentation Manager, so he won't have to deal with a pack of rabid lobby and bot developers.

speaking of protocol chances, I'd propose to:
at login, have last parameter be client's supported protocol version. If it is missing assume latest protocol before introduction of this..
