If we want gui with detailed graphics we can not resize images. We can make resizable objects without any problem using cutting instead of resizing.

The biggest problem for me right now is huge difference in dots/inch on various displays which is quite annoying. If i make graphics that will fit on HD screens and such i'll be stuck with bulky GUI instead of rly sleak one on my older 17" LCD.
And i sure don't want to make compromises in my gameplay couse of looks.

I'm not sure what's causing insane preformance drop on IceUI but it seems that our approach is a tad lighter on cpu. We've decided to use completely diferent concept too plus it would be hard on Beherith to figure out Mel's code since he wrote it alone.

I think this feature should me implemented in players list widgets. You just need 1 checkbox where you can uncheck players you don't want to share with.

When i load this, CA stuff ( like mex energy control & chicken warning-thingo-interface-i-think-it-is-bbq) is very boxy and patchy. Anyway, I'll stick to this.

Spectators can't see sharing bars of players like the original widget does it seems.

actually i don't like the design, i think you should redesign the whole interface, then you could code part of it little by little, but from what you've done it's gonna be pretty hard to make something coherent, your ressources bar design is too complicate, make it nice but simple, you don't need to change each bar because one is metal and the other is energy, only the color or one icon is enough

Agreed. But this was first thing we made together so we made it for fun, to learn from it and shit, you know how that goes.
Now that I learned my part and Beh improved his lua skills we are going to make whole interface. But it'll take time since we need to make something rly pro if we wanna ppl to use it. So cya in few months x.x

Also have a look at the animation code for those energy lightnings on the "E". When you pause the game the animation either stops or speeds up a lot... :wink:

guys fix the issue where the graphic over laps the chat messages in 1024 x 768 , thats my only annoyance otherwise I would have it on perminantly


P.S in guy moanin about mini map just lower the map if you have common sense 8) I did
