I only have one issue with minispring:
A quote of SJ from this thread:
1: It breaks pathfinding and there is no easy fix other than to double the resolution of the pathfinding data and then you can as well double the map size.
Get rid of these and the only argument against it is personal preference.

Of course, that, and the fact that line-drag building is a little fubared.
