It seems to have remembered sites i havn't visited for over two years, and which i only visited a handful of times even then, and have cleared cookies, history etc many times since then etc etc... its scary

I mean i have cleaned the history many times before i installed the new version, yet it's rememberedwebsites such as the one wasp made for XHC about two years ago, and barrysworld / freddyshouse which ive not visited for god knows how long..

Nothing under the options I can find will turn this off or the frequently viewed drop down from the address bar.

Both to 0/false and restart FF. It will still record what you do, and if someone turns these values back they can see what you did. I just tested that.

The sheer amount of crap it pulled up that WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE BEEN DELETED BACK WHILE USING FF2 is disturbing. I never did a hack job of cleaning up my history. I had CCleaner and my own manual inspections. Where is it getting this from???

Damn it all! I can't go to IE. Any Microsoft product is just as bad as authentic spyware.
