No, not actually, and noize wanted me to make graphs, not me :D

And those spam stats are from my own logs from lobby client, nothing to do with your map/mod stats,, where i was going to make more graphs, and being helpful for the spring community, but now the FTP account is deleted, so i can no longer help.

Noize whines about the CA updaater.

Noize wants to have graphs.

Noize, are you afraid your overwhelmingly popular mod is going to go down? How can you sleep at night, knowing that CA is constantly improving gameplay? models? effects? *paranoia*

Trademark: I'm still failing to see the timestamps. That is useless data, you might as well turn it upside down.

and yeah i agree it needs better labelling, the data is completely meaningless right now

Uhm, it wouldnt prove anything,i could just put any timestamps and say they are correct, you would just have to believe me afterall.

Does anyone else see something wrong here? All the mods are gaining popularity in those graphs over time with no dips, This is not a measure of popularity, popularity shifts, these do not, infact these graphs suggest the entire playerbase has grown tremendously in the last few weeks.

Statistically speaking these graphs are flawed.

Yeah you are right, it works with same principle as spring end game graphs, if you die, you have straight line there to the end of game.

Still you can see the popularity from these graphs i made, higher angle to top = more popular, straight angle = popularity is zero.

If your mod suddenly gets more popular, the line starts making higher angle to top.

I think his graphs are total accumulated time played. If he wants to prove his point, the graph he needs to generate is % of pie per day (not accumulated).

edit: A quick glance over some of his code, it appears he is only including a subset of all CA games, namely, stable-1604, stable-1574, stable-1547.

The angle what im talking about represents the same thing, just harder to read.

Yes, that list was the most popular CA versions which colors i changed in the other graph. Look at the first graph, it has CA curve including all versions of CA.

To understand it, just look at the second image, it clearly shows how BA6.1 version curve got lower angle after BA6.21 was released.
