Of course but it's a flaw with reward schemes, the point system is dumb and any weakness will be exploited pretty soon, forcing you to add more complexity to the system.

I lopened this thread thinking this was an RTS based on the A-team,

It depends if your talking persisting (between games) points or not, then there's a huge difference. And making the enemy give up or killing all the enemies units as is the normal RTS victory condition is not directly connected to any points (they just help).

The difference between score points and resources is that resources have a very simple way of gathering that is explained to everyone, the scoring algorithms are usually kept somewhat secret and when attempting to reward cooperation often very complex.

The Blue Tanks could be team based I guess. We rarely played teams though. Updates to a few of my mods could make team matches more fun.
