Wisdom teeth 2x removed

Re: Wisdom teeth 2x removed
The difference between having a tooth pulled and having wisdom teeth removed is like the difference between getting stitches and an appendectomy. (Full disclosure, I've never had either of the latter two)
Re: Wisdom teeth 2x removed
Depends, one of my wisdom teeth was in a normal position, no bleeding after the OP, the lower jaw ones were partially covered by the bone so it was a lot worse.
Re: Wisdom teeth 2x removed
My two lowers were the same sort of KdR Ones, the two above them were really easy going, three strikes and they were out. Not much bleeding, no infections, all went well with them..
Re: Wisdom teeth 2x removed
I just noticed I'm missing the lower right wisdom tooth, apparently I've only gotten three. Although the space is there, and it feels hard enough for a tooth to be below the flesh.
Re: Wisdom teeth 2x removed
My father waited to long to get his wisdom teeth pulled and the roots grew down and wrapped around his jaw bone - required cutting up under his chin and breaking the roots off, then pulling them out from above. Very painful and lots more holes to heal after.
Attempting to learn a lesson, since my teeth looked like they were heading the same way, I decided to get all 4 pulled. They put me under, or at least tried to. They said count up from 0 and most people are asleep by 10... I got to 60 and they increased the dosage. But anyway, I was asleep for most of the procedure, but I had a 3 hour drive home to my local doctor where I could get my prescription filled for painkillers afterward - obviously my dad was driving me... they painkillers they gave me wore off after maybe an hour and I had a truly excruciatingly painful ride home till we could get the prescription filled.
Ouch.
