We are still working out concepts for CA. Ive had my brother around for christmas and so we have like several dozen new concept designs, and have further refined the look and feel of the units and factions.

Then we have the units made by Arne (Niklas Jansen) and Azaremoth, which follow totally different designs. If we do adopt them, we'll probably have to swap the designs for arm and core, as both of them make core sleek and stealthy looking, and arm blocky and heavy looking.

At the moment we are going for a WW1, WW2, cold war, slightly steampunk, teutonic knight style for core (Though this may be too WH40k) and a high-tech sleek, metalic, a bit anime, slightly alien design for arm. A large departure from TA but at least it fits closely with the actual unit/faction roles.

Anyway, expect a glut of new concept art soon.

As for dazzle camo, we are still discussing this and its precise application. If you want to go ahead and slap on a coat to see how it would look in game, it might really help with unit differentiation or it might just end up making the unit look schizophrenic.

How big is this gun? if it is supposed to be big, as i think it is, scale down the texture and tile it some more, so u see the true dazzle effect.

U dont like zebras? or checkers? Zebras dont like u either

that does look a little better

the good thing about dazzle camouflage it makes unit esear to see because it was not made for hiding units but hiding their speed and rotation. But i don't know how it will work for robots and radar maybe going with plan metal texture would be the most 'realistic.'

I know there are lots of wasted polies, but this is just a concept (hence the sketchup)

Ahhh, now i really like that actually- way more than the original jungle camo. Might be a bit too dark though, and would make it difficult to preshade those darker areas.

Clumsy, we'll probably go with a more integrated approach to the punisher, and something using a more coreish gun. That cross beam will also make it hard for the gun to pitch upwards.

What do you mean by integrated? (do you mean that the barrel, housing and armour all in one? ) and coreish? how would i make it more "coreish"?

and here is some more refining.. the colours are to make it easier to see the diffrent parts, and it makes it easier for me to select the different parts.

New pipes, no overhead bar, bigger gun housing and barrels.

I love you too, dont worry. Good guns, like the way they (appear) are not parallel.

they are (or should be >.<) paraellel, but they are tapered (the base of the barrel is wider than at the other end).
