My impressions of this Mod.

Quite fun when your over the Learning curve.

IE learning how to apply abilitys and customize your tank.

With Weapons Armor and Engines of choce.


I find it really fun to play, Recently I have been playing it quite alot.

Playing as my favorite class, The granendier (or some thing along those lines)

Shooting Missiles, and mortars on top of my foes heads, with decent accuracy.
Droping mines in high traffic area's getting kills after you stopped playing as infantry to take up a tank.

Taking a Tank armed to the teeth, taking out people who are not used to the game so far.

Once in a while cracking open a APC giving me say 2-4 kills, while "MHWHAHAHAHAHAH"Ing on the mic. :D

Over all I enjoy my self.

Quick class rundown!

Engie
-Pistol 1 only
-SMG 1-2
-Anti building granade
-Buildertool
-Builds A turret unless upgraded
-Builds A Radar OR a camera
-Walls to my annoyance half the time - Turns out unbuilt walls are nearly perfect Tank traps. :p
-Repairs and Builds ... Buildings and repairs tank armor.
-Useful upgrades
-Turret upgrade - Two turrets or ONE level 2 turret
-Tank cool down speed 10%
-Revive
-Health heal upgrade (they are medics pretty much)
-Armor speed upgrade (Build buildings own your own faster) :D

RifleMAN!
-Pistol 1-2
-Rifle 1-3
-Granades/Sticky granades, for tanks.
-Armor - 10% reduction.
-Useful Class only upgrades
-Dig in - Stamina takes half damage while ducked/phone
-Extra Damage %10
-Extra Damage Tank %10
- Don't know any more.

Scout
-Pistol 1
-Sniper/SMG 1-2
-Smoke/Flash bangs - also sticky granades to stun tanks.
-Bonaculars to recon and ect.
-Useful upgrade
-Hide - become transpart become more transparent while near more walls
-Tank speed upgrade 10%
-I think there is one more

Granader or what ever (Anti tank) :D
-Pistol 1-2
-Rocket launcher - has player guided rockets
-mortar's quite powerful if you can hit your mark
-Mines - drop and forget and Bang points :D
-Upgrades
-Mine disfusal (as the name suggests.)
-Armor detection (know what side of your foe to hit while they are inside a tank)
-artillery feed back. (shows a small shock wave on the minimap of where your shell landed, apply to tank artillery and mortars
-Tank armor upgrade (While driving take 10% less damage.)


Well this was not "a fast thing" :p

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

1. First, stop Steam if running and download and install Empires Version 2.0 Client.

2. Install Empires 2.0 and read the manual.

3. Start Steam. You should see "Empires 2.0" listed in your Installed games list. Double click this to start Empires and begin playing.

@ Adalore :

You listed skills but never really mentioned anything new ;).

There are a few tricks in empires such as :

A. 9 mine trick :

As a grenadier with ammo increase, you can carry 10 mines total.

The game has a limit of 8 mines on the field - if you lay one, the first one you placed will go b00m!

This idea can be used to make the grenadier a devastating 1 man ninja-team or even a game winner.

simply lay all the mines at one place, say, the enemy boomtank (comm veh :P) and lay the 9th one somewhere else - since all the 8 mines you placed first are at the same place, when the first one goes off it'll set a chain reaction.

That translates to a huge burst of damage to said enemy vehicle / building.

Me and shox turned around a few games in which we were horribly losing - but won due to this ninja run :P.

p.s protip : use this trick to grief your own comm :P :P :P.

B. APCs count as spawn points and resupply stations - they. are. awesome. There's only one problem : n00bs tend to jack parked vehicles :<.

C. Sometimes, if you drive fast enough at another tank you might either flip it over and cause it to go boooooooooom or the other tank will get stuck up top your vehicle and then, you can carry it around with you :P.

Jeeps carrying tanks up top is hilarious.

D. if you're comm (or an evil engineer) and you're on a map w/ a small moat - if you stick walls so that they're exactly just ahead of the deepest spot in the stream (where vehicle receives damage) - this'll cause the vehicle that tries to pass over the water instead of a bridge to stop dead right tharr and receive damage. Eventually, they'll start using the bridge - this is where your buddy can put mines to pretty much force the thing to go ka-pewm :>.
