I have. It was funny, with everyone pressing ctrl-d all the time meaning moar spam to shut off the self-d once triggered.

Mine was

Small Divide -> Greenfeilds -> speed metal -> green feilds islands -> speedmetal duo water -> Altored divide -> Everything

My progression was NTAI -> GlobalTestAI -> humans (as well as playing Nanoblobz -> making CvC -> making GINTA -> playing Gundam and making Kernel Panic). I never focussed much on any map though I tend to play River Glade and Narrow Valley often with Gundam and played a lot of Marble Madness with Kernel Panic.

I started joining big xta games on varied maps and havnt really changed since. played EE lots until the version with hubs, where it suddenly vanished. played against KAI lots when it worked pro

gayfields and sm only appeal to people who suck at RTS, since there is no pressure to learn the mod or play well
