I found a solution for my problem concerning java, if you want to create some sort of AFlobby FAQ, perhaps you will like to put this in there:

I could not start AFlobby on my Feisty Fawn even though Java 6 and 5 was already installed on the system.
The point is that you have to tell your system which Java it shall use and on Ubuntu an open source solution (not fully compatible) is preactivated.

To choose the right one, type this in terminal:

"sudo update-alternatives --config java"

Then all available Runtimes will be listed and you can choose the right one!!
