Also Jackalope it's as easy as one two PLAY THE GAME! It's not rocket science, damn it!
Build hub. Build factory with hub. Expand with mexx's. Build mixed forces of artillery, anti-air, main battle tanks/bots and sheilds. Move out and attack. Keep attacking/manuvering till your enemy is a pile of corpses.
THERE! Done.

I went ahead and posted a replay for ya, both to give a basic example of EE game play (for those that want one) and also point out another issue I've come across - GD's walls weren't exactly... walling anything off.
I don't know if this is map-specific or if it's a known issue, but I hope it's not so I don't look too retarded.
Oh and as far as being a game play example... um, something is better than nothing, right?

Also, that last screenshot on the DL page is an example of another minor issue I've noticed - vehicles tend to get stuck in wrecks a lot - something I haven't noticed in any other mod. Just wondering if that is supposed to happen/or if anyone cares.

Kudos, I havn't seen anyone play GD that well for some time (course I never play spring anyway, so thats not suprising).
As you can clearly see the guy in the top right tried to porc and failed miserably.
The gd walls are going to have to be made square for them to work properly again. When you rotate buildings the footprint doesn't rotate(or maybe it's the yardmap...), so therefore you have oblong walls that don't block.
Anyway, that was a fun game to watch.

Plz could we hear some info and reports on how the new EE version it coming along! Can't wait for the next race to come out and would like some previews of it

well, I am personally working on (with help from the other guys as well) possible RC beta's. I can't garuantee that fang will support all these changes and whatnot, and it's his mod so what he says goes.
That said We are hard at work with a new version beta RC. We will have new layout for the gui, easier to distinguish buildpics and lots of other really neat goodies, as well as massively improving certain gameplay aspects.

We have already succeeded in making the ion tank viable again. We have made air transportation for GD much more viable (and fun!).
Lots of neat things are in the works.

I haven't played Spring in a while (I last played it when it was still TA Spring), but checking on the forums, I've just found a reason to give it another go.
E&E is my favourite mod! The robots are okay, and I don't know about this third side (are they still in?) BUT I do absolutely love the GD. Tanks, tanks, tanks, artillery tanks, tanks with rockets, tanks with bigger artillery, NUCLEAR-FLINGING TANKS, and helicopters. :D
