Turns out if I don't start firestarter on my linux box some links don't work for me in my laptop connected via the LAN, but e-mail and google work fine. Oo

delete your \TASpring\lobby\cache\maps\*.mini files with the latest exe and it should take twice less memory than before

A few comments:
  • We should really find a new name since it's not TASpring anymore.
  • I think the Help button/menu should be renamed to either Links or Help&Links or something.
  • The latest SVN version (the link you sent me) seems to be linked against that qtintf70.dll again and I don't have it. I could download it but I guess you still don't use it.
  • A unified place for settings would be nice. I know the average player doesn't give a crap where the settings are saved but right now it's in lobby/var/*.dat, lobby/groups.ini and the registry.
  • One really unimportant feature-request: Opera style tab switching (holding right mouse button and using the scroll whell). And no: I don't use Opera.
  • And maybe we could agree on a special character for new-lines in topics for all the lobbys. I don't know if ChanServ would need updating for this though.
That's it for now I think.. Nothing really important except for the DLL..

OK, how about TASClient: "Totally Awesome Spring Client"?

I liked the simple SpringClient but it's pretty close to SpringLobby now..

If it's not in the latest version yet I'll suggest having the "new game hosted" notification not show if the game is hidden by your filter settings.

I think it would be a wise descision not to allow broadcasting away messages but rather automatically send it in as one-time response when you get queried by someone.

No it was taken from some random channel on an IRC network with some cosmetic additions by myself. But you get the idea...

Anyhow, good to hear.

Why not just use StrokeIt? If you're a Linux user, I'm sure there's a similar program for that too.

Maybe like 2-5 min. Is it inactivity at the computer or just if the client is minimized?
