And give single player unlocked speed by default. Not .3-3, but unlocked, so I don't have to .maxspeed 100 in nearly every test game.

Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
Should we have a big group test today or tomorrow? I remember having one caught a few bugs in .75, so I was figuring we'd do one again. If the stats page is based off CET, it seems like 9 - 10 PM GMT would be the time with the most active players.
All we need is a working test server, a working installer, and an agreed upon version to test plus a mod that works with the SVN version.

Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
Starting at 7 PM GMT I'll host some test games with the then latest revision. Test server is always up (well almost
), and installer is basically always working fine too
Join if you have any time, we really need to test some huge games!
We can (and should) play the mods that are included by the installer, it is most important those work fine with the to be released Spring.

I'll come, if only to spec (if I won't manage to change my box until then.)

Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
so...do I download the build now? or are there going to be changes between then and now?
Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
wait a little till 5174 is available
Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
Does Buildbot actually make a new build if only the installer changed? I don't think it cares about lobby changes.

(11:43:33 AM) tvo: MrBuild: force build mingw32-4.2 full rebuild
Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
I'll play some BA 6.0.
I asked all of the modmakers to test their mods off of the installer several days ago (after previously testing before they sent me the final version), and, IMO, it is the modmakers' responsibility to have their mod working properly with the SVN release, as devs can't be expected to see problems in mods they are not familiar with.

Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
But if a mod (no matter how wrong) causes the engine to crash unintentionally, it's still - 99% of the time - an engine bug, so we need to test that, too.
Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
Ya, IMHO engine should never crash on mod bugs, at worst it should error out with a clear error message, or spam the log, or something like that

Re: Spring 0.76: pending stuff
It would be a good idea if you could specify a map and mods folder for spring to use. Especially for test games so you don't have to move/copy maps over all the time. Comes a bit late I guess....

.reloadcob crashes on me every single time
