WTC demolition admitted by bush

I like to think that racisem is just ignorance mixed with intolerance. Time will deal with ignorance...but I'm not so sure about the intolerance. But then again, think of how african-american's and caucasians started off. Now we have, what, four african-american senators? Or was it five? I don't know. Need to check.
The only way to END racisem is to teach. The more you know, as me and my band director says.

I hope you are right. And yeah, education is the key. But some people just will NEVER learn... That's the problem (Just yesterday I heard one of my classmates told me that he met a redneck who still thinks the US is in civil war, yes, the war between the North and the South!!!). Another factor is parents and religions. No matter what the schools teach the children, if the perspectives conflict with that imposed by their parents or religions, the schools are yet to win. That's why so many people still think that war is the ONE AND ONLY ONE way to solve conflicts, and that's NOT limited to the US. Solving this problem would need decades, if not centuries, and only if it doesn't get worse. And the "interactions" I mentioned, unfortunately, mostly meant wars, as we all can see, in the middle east and many other parts of the world.
I hope that's sarcasm because if not I fear for your country. Hitler's lapdog, eh?SpikedHelmet wrote:More liberal bullshit. Just goes to show they will do and say anything, lie, cheat, steal, to try to make republicans look bad, so that they can sell our country out to terrorists and communists. Pretty soon every gas station will be "Exxon al Arabiya al Allah" and every McDonalds will be "Mik Chin Fo Yung Fast Food Take-Out" and you're all going to speaking Chinese and reading the Koran and when you think back on how we tried to defend this country and think about how you betrayed your country you're going to say "Gee, maybe they were right, and I was just too stupid and weak-minded to realize it" and it'll be too late.
EDIT: Okay, it is sarcasm. Usually anything this outrageous triggers my sarcasm detector but with political debate I've seen viewpoints more outrageous than anyone could make up.

Oh please, calm down. Nobody has ever said "brainwashed Nazi", except for you. If you have this thought you are interpreting Zoombie's message with a racist way, which is not a good sign.SpikedHelmet wrote:Then what are you saying, Zoombie? Because I got the feeling from your post that you think I'm nothing more than a shell of a human being who has been warped and twisted by conservative lies. So come out and say it.
Defending your country is absolutely right. Any sane man would do so. But defending and invading are two different things. Remember this. And, please, take some time to think about the opposing opinions instead of simply putting them "liberal b******t".

Again, that's nothing wrong. But think about it. How many people (terrorists as well as civilians) have been killed by US troops? Tens of thousands. If they have to take out the person who is responsible for this, the US is going to be in big trouble. Killing one big villian is one thing. Full scale invasion and killing tens of thoudands of civilian is another thing. Don't get them mixed up. Now that the lord of evil has been sentenced to death penalty, mission accomplished. Then why are there still people dying everyday in Iraq? Remember, they are innocent civilians, just like those who were killed by the 9/11 attack.SpikedHelmet wrote:So going into Afghanistan and taking out the asshole that killed 3,000 people in New York is imperialism, right? We should've just left them alone, right?

What I want to say is, turn the table, think about their situation, not just yours. If some country sends troops to yours and killing civilians everyday, what would you think? What would you do? I am not saying "if somebody is loading a gun in front of you, telling you they're going to kill you, take your money, rape your wife, and then sell your children as sex slaves,", like some racist did, because it is not the real case (at least in the US it isn't). Think about it, and you will get a whole new perspective, and closer to mutual understanding. Just so they are not americans doesn't mean their lives are not important. I am saying in the world's point of view. That's what I wanted to say. Sorry my post was messy.

Thats cause your brave. But then again, how can one judge bravery untill you've actually had the gun at your head and the invader's boot on your neck. It is only when you are in the thick of it that you're statement becomes something real.
Also I never for once thought you were some warped, twisted shell of a humain. What do you think I am, some kind of judge someone by some things they put on the internet? That'd be really really shallow, to sum up someone based off a few lines ot text. I'd have to read your posts for about a week or so to have a difinative idea of what you could be like. But we all have different voices. I don't talk like this with my voice. I talk like this with my words, written on the internet. The difference can be huge.
For one thing when I talk I don't misspell things as often.
