Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
Arguing about the workings of relationships in real life on an internet forum. Tsk tsk. Anyways, unless you state whether the girl is more of a prostitute or more of a nun, it's pointless to make any generalizations at all.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
fc14159 and nightcold didn't read the thread. GG guys.

Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
You're right. I had to stop at the picture of you and do some unspeakable things.smoth wrote:fc14159 and nightcold didn't read the thread. GG guys.

Oh god. This isn't an appropriate topic for discussion. Nobody wants to know what you do with pictures of smoth. Ick.;Pfc14159 wrote:You're right. I had to stop at the picture of you and do some unspeakable things.smoth wrote:fc14159 and nightcold didn't read the thread. GG guys.
This has been the best advice in this thread so far......dont look for advice from the internet
...except maybe the part about having a strong personal identity and sense of self.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
Did you READ my post? They're DATING. He is dating. She is dating. They (him and her) arranged for a date somehow. Hitting on a stranger in the restaurant is NOT dating, or wasn't, the last time i checked. The girl is here for dating. That much is known, all contained in the single word 'dating' (they might have been dating for some time or it might be a first actual date, w/e, that is what I did not explain). Guy 2 talked with her sufficiently, that i also said. My guy #2 is your guy #3, and your guy #2 is a strawman who hits on a stranger in a restaurant like this without any talk and i do agree that your guy #2 is a douche and he's getting slapped most of the time.smoth wrote:Guy #2 is a douche, I don't care how you try and wrap that strawman he has a popped collar.
Guy #2 doesn't know the girl or her reason for being there and is essentially just trying to push his way in by a show of sexual aggression. Maybe she didn't come here for that? That is why I say 2/3rds of the time the guy is getting slapped or a drink poured on.
Maybe if they had been talking for a while but honestly not some complete stranger. Sure she might be on the prowl as well but really the only reason strat 2 works is because the question gets out there. Fact of the matter is that I propose a 3rd guy.
guy 3, sees the chick is dealing with nice guy and dude with boner. Realizes she is having a rough night and just talks to her. Guy 3 feels her out and gets an idea of what she is into then drops cheesy line or just lets her get sloshed. if the goal is to bone her the guy who actually fishes a little bit would have better luck.
Simple as that, a true player understands the game has rules and you have to feel out the other person. Sure guy with dick out his pants will get more than the dude who fumbles with his zipper but the suave motherfucker will get the girl more often than either of these two hormonal idiots.
(as for letting girl get sloshed, i find that gross, plus if she changes her mind when sober, your guy #3 gets a rape charge, and she claims he put something in her drink. If #3 wants sex, he must ask very directly before she's sloshed, or he's risking something far more serious than a slap. Girls can be douches too.)
FFS do I HAVE to write posts as long as Argh's and yours to explain you every single thing in detail instead of just using words? Do i have to describe what 'dating' means, over course of several pages, instead of just saying that they're dating?
Why do you have to always assume that everyone whom you are talking to is stupidier than you? It ain't so.

Being a kind, considerate person never hurt. There is a disconnect between being "nice" and being kind, considerate and worthwhile.

Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
Especially kind and considerate people always scare me.

Heresy, on my intertubes? This magic device was developed to satisfy my ego. Of curse everyone must be stupider on the intertubes. Im sort of a teacher for retarded children, i know my precious time is wasted away, but non the less, i stay. Dont you dare dize, taunting the gods above us, drinking from the holy phail.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
No it is stupid. People IRL can tell you equally stupid or brilliant things. it should be "learn to tell advice from trolling" which is important but when people come in a thread like this where others are actually having a discussion and say "LOL YOU TALK ABOUT IRL ON THE INTERWEBS" it is just fucking stupid. The internet is just as relevant as a coffee shop or anywhere else. If you are a gullible fuck you should listen to no one anyway, advice or suggestions still require our own filters and anyone who merely dismisses a discussion the way they do or calls people insecure for having a conversation are trolls.MidKnight wrote:This has been the best advice in this thread so far.......dont look for advice from the internet
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
I think the point in saying "dont trust people on internet" is that people tend to lie less on face-to-face than behind some "user35626" nickname...
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
I think that is bullshit. People lie to your face all the time.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
Yeah, but can they do this?

As much as I love Smoth, gotta agree with Trade on this one. Hence the reason why anon appears so immoral, it's because some people aren't as afraid of showing their true colours over the internet, especially when they have no identity at all and as it happens, /b/tards have no colours at all

Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
If your trying to say that people lie less over the internet and you agree with Trademark's point than you need to reread his post.Jazcash wrote:As much as I love Smoth, gotta agree with Trade on this one. Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
I do understand the greater internet fuckwad theory but I submit that people don't need to be told this.. if they do, they fall in the gullible fuck collective.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
How's that Madonna-whore complex working out for you? Does it make it as difficult to respect women as I've been lead to believe?fc14159 wrote:Anyways, unless you state whether the girl is more of a prostitute or more of a nun, it's pointless to make any generalizations at all.
In all seriousness, dating / getting laid really is about being comfortable in your own skin, pleasant, considerate, and respecting your potential partner's wishes. Dizekat also hit on a really good point with the importance of being polite and honest about your intentions and desires. Fumbling around blindly trying to intuit other's interests almost universally ends horribly. It's important to add the follow-up to guy #2 in the above example with the idea that, if he is turned down, or if the woman involved is only interested in doing some of the things guy #2 wants, he respects her decision and doesn't try to push his date into doing things she doesn't want to do.
No, I'm pretty sure anon and /b/ only look worse because they're collected and focused on singular tasks. People off the internet are still impressively huge fuckwads an enormous amount of the time. For a concept that ties this to the thread, see: rape, partner abuse, etc.Jazcash wrote:As much as I love Smoth, gotta agree with Trade on this one. @ Big Take Awesome post.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
I suppose you could use something like Chat Roulette as a simple example. There, people are quite happy to flop their dick around without any sense of embarrassment. However, flopping your cock around in reality, isn't exactly the most welcomed of greetings.
Re: Nice guys do not get girls... [contains mature language]
The question is not weather people flop their genitals around IRL or not... it is a question about honesty... if you are the kind of person who flops their genitals about on chat roulette and you don't do so IRL it would follow that your behaviour IRL is less honest then your behaviour online.Jazcash wrote:I suppose you could use something like Chat Roulette as a simple example.
