You sound cynical. I used to know a German exchange student and he didn't appear to be cynical. He had a cool accent.PicassoCT wrote:Hey, don´t let me & yourself get Megalomaniac. Cadyr & Arghs Post are Visible from Space like the Chinese Wall of Text...
PS: The creepy Creature i am, has to rain on the smiling Parade, don´t hate me for that Panda. Recent Research has shown that constant smile against & over your true feelings lead to depressions.
I've heard that people in Europe are more concerned about messing up there lineage and being fat than Americans are. Lol, maybe they think that Americans are going to make them fat.
Yea, but even people in the Japanese culture know that smiling is a good thing. I had two professors who lived in Japan for a while. Even though they said that in Japan smiling isn't always the standard, they do still know that smiling is a good thing and that it's common in other cultures. I'm sure they don't all think that it usually means the person is hiding there feelings especially when it comes to younger generations.PicassoCT wrote: As Examples shown were a Chinese Olympian Hostess and the japaneses Culture, were smiling ist the Standard Reply even if you are "wounded" in an Argument.
I also think that smiling is a happy medium between running up, bouncing around, and hugging people (That's not too uncommon around here. Some people are just like that and it can be a bit annoying at times.) and being completely stoic. Besides, only weaboos want to be that much like the Japanese.

Some things in SupCom are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on SupComs gristle,
Don't grumble, give a whistle,
And this'll help things turn out for the best, and...
always look on the pirate side of life...
You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.
