We only need a couple of forums...
General, Bugs/Suggestions, Community (for games and the ladder and whatever) and a seekrit Dev forum.

From those pictures it looks like it could be a bit less shiny, but I'd like to see them in-game first.

just need to emphasise that after again losing a game from my commander using 95% of my metal income to make a structure since his buildpower is nuts

-PTRD still doesn't have an icon.
-Commissar's icon show distance is longer than others' - should be changed to the same as everyone else's.

Before Commissars get diff. icons, we need to fix current Engi icon (I made it so it sucks) so it's just a Hammer & sickle and not the black box.

Did a small test match, me as Brits vs RAI as USSR

Things I noticed:
RAI is dim
The Royal Engineering Vehicle can't build much (sandbags and tanktraps as I recall)
The armoured cars can destroy flags by having them force fire on the ground next to them (AOE splash damage)

id say its more the effect of the balance being quite good at the moment.

Felix (GBR) and I (USA) had a great game last night, which was unfortunately ended by a disconnect on my part (booooooo) and there werent any glaring imba's (although i still feel the hurt of not having the scott in the veh yard)

all in all id say its now more about getting S44 feature complete, getting the UI addons sorted and S44 would be ready to release (purely my own opinion) with only a few tweaks to the balance left.

Oh, one thing about that Scott.

I added it into the US vehicle yard. I'm not 100% sure how buildpics work or if it even has a buildpic. Whatever.

The Scott's turret has 100% teamcolor. It looks sorta cool but I doubt that's what was intended! :P

thats because its a stand-in until a real one gets modeled. its just a Stuart with a pink turret (and a different weapon)

lol yeah, it's not teamcolour, it's a pink turret -- guess you wouldn't be able to tell the difference, you playing Pink all the time :D

Problem with latest s44 svn and spring svn:


CobError: stack not large enough, need 2, have 1 (to few arguments passed to function=) (in scripts/ruscommander.cob:StartBuilding at bb5)

(happens when russian commander starts building the first flag)
