  • no unit/feature rendering
  • units and features as sprites
  • wireframe
  • flat grey shading
  • flat teamcolor shading
  • basic diffuse textures
your my hero
my glorious intel integrated card will finally have its moment
even if i had a decent graphics card though
i'd appreciate these options just to play around with

useless suggestion: white map textures (and maybe solid teamcolor textures for units) i saw a thread about people making an AO shader before and as a demo, someone made a really cool looking textureless screenshot.

EDIT: facepalm already suggested

i can not take part in the discussion about the details here, as i can only rely on what you say, but the options you list are just what we/the low-tech system users were waiting for!
sounds really nice! :D

it also sounds like this would be a good first step to allow multiple views; Picture in Picture, or what its called.

i do not care if similar stuff is usable through Lua instead, but if it is just possible to d with Lua, and then not done (which seems to be Arghs plan), then of course i prefer this method ;-)

someone once said that wire-frames would/could often be slower then the real/fully textured models. in case this is true, and this one is giving problems, it would be left out i guess. otherwise, it would be nice :D

not much, been bogged down with other commitments for a couple of months. will get back to it as soon as possible. Probably needs about 4 uninterrupted days to get it to testing stage.
