ok, hows this:

A Pro is one who has mastered the game mechanics- build order, economy, unit handling and combat- sufficently that he does not waste time and concious thought in their use. Instead, since he has an unconcious mastery of the tools, he is free to consider their most efficent application, the best stratergies.

A non-Pro is one who wastes time and thought on simple game mechanics- mex placement, balancing energy and buildpower, scouting, defence placement, managing economy, microing and positioning their forces- which makes them far less able to consider stratergy.

A Noob is entirely pre-occupied with learning and using simple game mechanics. His inability to use these simple tools properly renders him unable to consider higher stratergies.

I dont see the difference between these descriptions actually. What is strategy other than scouting, managing economy, and unit positioning?

I think he means an unpro player has to think about balancing eco etc, whereas a pro player has the experience to do that anyway, so as oppose to focusing on that they can instead focus on the battle and how best to use their stuff.

Pro players are players who win, even though they only build a few units. Examples: Babbles, Epicock, NaughtNinja, Regret, and kiki.

But thats not true in any case. Neither econ or micro is something you can "just do" with enough experience, theres always room for better/faster execution.

Your sentence could be easily switched to that unpro has to think about micro, opposed to pro player who can do that anyway and instead focus on streamlined macro play.

That doesnt define pro, that defines gamersense. If i was rank 3 and found mex placing and unit micro hard, yet i still did both simultaneously because i had a hugely powerful mind and brain, would i still be a "noob"?

Hmm... I thought Noob and Newb were two different things...

Newb = Newbie = Somebody who is new to the game
Noob = Somebody who is bad at the game, doesn't have to be a newb...

for example, Jazcash is not a newbie, since he has wasted most of his childhood playing spring. However, he is a noob. No explanation needed.
