Re: Are we rally that bad?
No idea why you're posting here, but it's a wiki, so you're free to change - I've changed the layout some, but I didn't change which games are listed (yet). I have had similiar thoughts though (but I reckoned it's a touchy subject, so I didn't want to mess with too many things at once)!
Certainly we could make a more comprehensive list including all kinds of games seperately - in the meantime, category Games shows you pretty much that (maybe we should link to that - ie for a full list of games go here).

Re: Are we rally that bad?
Did you mean to start a new thread or was this just an example of trolling?
Re: Are we rally that bad?
I'd say clicking the image should open the game's page, not the image's page.
Re: Are we rally that bad?
I'd say the same, but it's only possible with either a newer version of the Mediawiki, or a hack - check out Pure's image code (the template) for how to use the hack.
P.S. could we have a moderator split off from Knorke's post onwards into a new thread titled ie "Layout and content of the Game page" ? Thanks.
Edit: and having it in General discussion would be a bonus.

Re: Are we rally that bad?
I just checked, and you're right, that works as well (for external images anyway, not sure about internal) - however you can't define the image size.
And I wasn't feeling like resizing all the images in use, some of which could do with replacing anyway. But of course I'd be happy to see the KP one fixed up in that manner :D!

Re: Are we rally that bad?
i posted this because i thought the thread was about how spring could be made more newb-friendly.No idea why you're posting here
if the newbs dont want to be stuck with Spring 1944 or Kernel Panic, which are at this moment the only listed games under download they will click on "Games."
Seeing how this page is not the best, its imo an important example of "yes, we are really that bad"
maybe i'llbut it's a wiki, so you're free to change

but everything i ever added to the wiki at least 100 years ago got lost or deleted somehow which was very gay, so yeah...
Re: Are we rally that bad?
If you're referring to http://springrts.com/wiki/FirsttimeEE, it's still around (probably just not linked anywhere). Of course if you'd done more and it had been deleted, then I wouldn't be able to see that...
I agree with the impression of "we're that bad", when you go even just to some of our top-level pages - and this is something I'm meaning to address. Seeing as this is not getting split off, I'll probably just start a new topic.
Edit: Thread created - http://springrts.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=19981
P.S. @Knorke: the title of the thread refers to Forum behaviour, not the presentation of Spring... reading about one post in might have told you that
