After updating to the latest version (6227) tasclient doesn't re-open and tasclient.exe is not replaced, but just moved to tasclient.exe.old

how i fixed it:
1. rename TASClient.exe.old to TASClient.exe
2. delete SpringDownloader.exe.bak
3. start TASClient.exe
4. have fun

it deleted it on me? or its hidden via Vista for some reason.

I've had the same issue.

Maek gaet springlobby. Tasclient also interferes with some voip progs as well.

Players don't get pulled into game when it starts with new lobby (RC5). Can host normally for ppl with old lobbys tho.

Yup, TASclient 0.38 beta RC5 is buggered, all have to download 0.37 from jobjol instead.

Minor complaint, but imo the participating in battle icon seems to be lacking a bit of black on the top...

release the working version as a stable one, so it autoupdates for everyone, some people cant connect but dont know they need to update (RC5 bug)

U should devide the player list into 2 sections.
#1 active none ZZ players and not active afk players.
The two lists should not merge but instead be sorted only inside themsleves.
